Jāgriti Hacks 2026 — National Level Virtual Hackathon

Jāgriti Hacks is a multi-phase national-level virtual hackathon bringing together India's brightest builders to solve real, hard problems across AI/ML, DevOps & Cloud, and Cybersecurity.

This isn't a "build a demo and hope" hackathon. Our 15 problem statements — 5 per track — are built for teams who want to ship something technically rigorous: real benchmarks, real failure modes, real adversarial thinking. If you're the kind of team that gets excited by hard constraints instead of scared of them, this is for you.

How it works

• Round 1 — Pitch & Approach (PPT): Submit your problem understanding, proposed approach, and architecture direction. No code yet — just show us you're solving the right problem the right way.
• Qualification: The top 80% of teams are shortlisted to move forward.
• Round 2 — Coding Sprint: Qualified teams get an ~18.5-hour window to build.
• Live Demo & Technical Evaluation: Present your working build for technical review.
• Top 20 Announced: The strongest teams advance to a final refinement window to polish their build.
• Final Demo & PPT Presentation: Top 20 teams make their final case.
• Winners Announced: Top placements, the Women in Tech Award — and the Top 3 walk away with internship offers.

• Technical Execution
  How well-built is the solution? We look at code quality, architecture soundness, correct implementation of the chosen problem statement, and whether the team handled edge cases and constraints rather than just building a happy-path demo.
• Innovation & Problem-Solving Depth
  Original thinking and genuine depth in tackling the problem statement, including real trade-off analysis and creative technical choices.
• Architecture & Technical Soundness
  Justification behind tech stack choices and whether the system design holds up under the problem's constraints.
• Presentation & Demo Quality
  Clarity of the pitch deck and demo, and how well the team communicates their approach and handles questions live.
• Feasibility & Real-World Impact
  Could this realistically work outside the hackathon? We assess practicality, scalability, and grounding in the problem's real constraints.
• Progress & Refinement
  For teams advancing past Round 1: meaningful improvement across the coding sprint and final refinement window, not just a repackaged submission.
