Round 1 — Pitch & Approach (PPT Submission)
Submit a pitch deck covering your problem understanding, proposed solution, architecture/tech stack, and expected impact or feasibility. No code is required at this stage.

Round 2 — 18.5-Hour Coding Sprint
The top 80% of teams from Round 1 advance to the coding sprint. Build your solution during the 18.5-hour window and submit your GitHub repository. Your submission must include a clear README with setup instructions, architecture, tech stack, and how your solution addresses the selected problem statement.

Live Demo & Technical Evaluation
Present your working solution in a 10-minute live demo, followed by technical Q&A with the evaluators. Teams will be assessed on technical execution, architecture, problem-specific constraints, implementation quality, and demonstration of the working product.

The strongest teams from the live technical evaluation advance to the final stage.

Final Refinement Round
The Top 20 teams receive a dedicated refinement window to improve their implementation, fix issues, strengthen their solution, and prepare their final presentation.

Final Demo & PPT Presentation
The Top 20 teams present their refined solution and final pitch to the judging panel. Teams defend their technical decisions, demonstrate their product, and explain the impact and scalability of their approach.

Winners Announced
Final results are announced, including the Top 3 winners and Women in Tech Award recipient. The Top 3 teams also receive internship offers.

• Technical Execution
  How well-built is the solution? We look at code quality, architecture soundness, correct implementation of the chosen problem statement, and whether the team handled edge cases and constraints rather than just building a happy-path demo.
• Innovation & Problem-Solving Depth
  Original thinking and genuine depth in tackling the problem statement, including real trade-off analysis and creative technical choices.
• Architecture & Technical Soundness
  Justification behind tech stack choices and whether the system design holds up under the problem's constraints.
• Presentation & Demo Quality
  Clarity of the pitch deck and demo, and how well the team communicates their approach and handles questions live.
• Feasibility & Real-World Impact
  Could this realistically work outside the hackathon? We assess practicality, scalability, and grounding in the problem's real constraints.
• Progress & Refinement
  For teams advancing past Round 1: meaningful improvement across the coding sprint and final refinement window, not just a repackaged submission.
